Explosive Arrowheads

Silent(ish), but deadly. Meet the Bow Mag: Bullet enhanced arrow head.

Recently, Jonathan sent me an email that simply contained a link and said, “I’m not even sure why, but I really want this.” I watched the product demo video scratching my head. Yet, I was also left wanting to buy a pack of Bow Mags. And I don’t even own a bow…

It really is an arrow head with a special slot for a bullet–either .38 or .357. And upon impact the bullet is set off. It’s best if you just watch the video:

Maybe a good stocking stuffer for the bow hunter/prepper in your house: Bow Mag

I assume it is a one time use device, but is it?

I would assume so. But you know what they say about assuming…

I’m curious whether the lack of a barrel causes a problem for this system. I mean, if you just set off a bullet without a pressurized chamber it’s not nearly as powerful as it would be otherwise.

These things are pure garbage. They destroy the arrow shaft when they actually fire That is. And penetration with a 357 is negligible. There is no chamber for the shell, nothing to contain it. Try throwing a few shells in a fire and you’ll see the same results. Save your money. Either hunt with a good bow or a real gun, these will just cause a minor wound and leave you with a seriously pissed off hog

Thanks for the awesome comment, Kirk. We’ve been wondering how these would do.
