#1 Start all your preps from the most likely to happen personal stuff.

#2 Buy and or store food and water first before you do anything else.

#3 Build your BOB for staying at the motel or a friend’s house before building a bag for the Apocalypse.

#4 Seeks skills for saving a life before worrying so much about taking one.

#5 Set a goal to get to at least three months salary in savings.

#6 It’s not about how many guns you have or how expensive they are… It’s about what you can do with them.

#7 Try to spend as much, if not more, time practicing preparedness and physically acquiring new skills as you do reading, listening, or talking about them.

    “Most people start from a fear of the worst possible thing that could happen to them.” And, of course, that terrible thing is so scary and overwhelming that people stop preparing before they even begin! Thanks for a great podcast. I particularly liked the reference to Jason Bourne.

    I hate it when people give good and sound advice to others for when SHTF. It decreases the odds me. Just joking. But I do hope the crazy gun totting Zombie Ready freaks don’t heed to your 7 points. And at the same time I hope all the farmers, doctors, construction workers and likeminded people do heed to your advice.
