E155: Determining How Long to Prepare for Going Without Systems of Support

In this episode, we discuss one of the most common things preppers wrestle with: How long should you prepare for systems of support to be out. Is it three days, three months, or three years? Or is it another number altogether?

The answer: It depends on a number of things you must consider for yourself. Once you determine these for yourself you can figure out how long to prepare for based on your threat assessment and risk tolerance.

But begin to solve this quandry by asking our selves three questions:

  1. What do you think is going to happen?
  2. How bad do you think it’s really going to be?
  3. How long will it last till barter starts up or stores open back up?
