ESEE Knives

I first learned about ESEE Knives, formerly RAT Cutlery, through Emergency By Niel Struass. ESEE Knives are some of the highest quality and well designed production knives on the market. ESEE feels so confident about the quality of their knives that they stand behind them with a lifetime unconditional warranty. They are my personal favorite and my first recommendation when any one is looking for a fixed blade knife.

Four of my favorites for Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse:

ESEE Lite Machete

ESEE Lite Machete
ESEE Lite Machette

Introduced a little over a year ago, the ESEE Lite Machete is one of the finest Machetes you will find. Unlike most machetes that use sub pare plastic handles and low quality steels, the ESEE Lite Machete uses Micarta handles and 1075 blade steel.

ESEE Junglas

ESEE Junglas
ESEE Junglas

It was like the guys at ESEE Knives were reading my mind. Six months before they released the Junglas I had been searching tirelessly for a knife with a heavy blade between 10″ – 12″. Introduced at the same time as ESEE’s Machete was the Junglas. The perfect small machete at an over all length of 16.5″ with a 10″ blade. Its just enough of a chopper for most tasks and just small enough to be convient.

What I especially like about the Junglas is the weight. At 22.5oz, it has some real heft and packs a punch when chopping and hacking at Zombies.

  • O.A Length: 16.5″

Watch for the HEST folder to be out by the end or just after the end of the year.
