My wife and I have been debating home schooling our children for a while.
A great source in Texas is the Texas Home School Coalition (www.thsc.org).
An interesting fact on the matter of home schooling is that in Texas parents have the right by law to choose to home school and the only requirement is to tell the state what curriculum is used. In the 80′s home schoolers went to court against the state and won, so Texas is one of the most (if not the most) home school friendly state in the US.
